How we maak.
FROM DESIGN TO FIT - OUT
01
BRIEF
Our design process is rooted in understanding our clients' desires and the unique context of their project site.Conduct a comprehensive interview with our client to explore their vision, lifestyle, and specific requirements for their new project. This may involve multiple meetings to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the client's vision.Evaluate the site where the project will be located. Factors such as topography, climate, surrounding environment, access, and zoning regulations are considered during this phase.
02
CONCEPT
Begin to develop initial design concepts based on the information gathered during the brief phase. Develop a concept that aligns with the client's vision and project goals and requirements while also addressing site constraints and regulatory considerations.Exploration of design themes, styles, and aesthetics integrating elements of warmth and sophistication. Incorporation of innovative and sustainable design principles.
03
VISUALISATION
Provide visual representations of the proposed design to facilitate client understanding and decision-making. Sharing visual representations, such as sketches, floor plans, 3D renderings to illustrate design ideas .Mood boards and sample boards to illustrate material and color palettes.
Facilitating an open dialogue to solicit feedback, address concerns, and refine the design direction based on client input.
04
DETAIL
Prepare detailed drawings and specifications to facilitate construction and implementation. Architectural drawings, including plans, elevations, and sections.
Specifications for materials, finishes, and construction methods.Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and other professionals to integrate structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems into the design.
05
PROGRAMME
Finalize the programming documentation, including the space program, budget, schedule, and any other relevant information. This serves as the foundation for the subsequent phases of the design process.
DESIGN
06
DEFINE
Define the scope of the project and the objectives that it is intended to achieve. This includes identifying the specific areas of the project that will be impacted by the fit-out, as well as the key goals and objectives that the project is intended to achieve. The next step is to conduct a thorough needs assessment to identify the specific requirements of the project.
07
BUDGET I TIMELINE
The next step is to prepare a budget and timeline for the project. This includes estimating the costs of all materials, labour, and other expenses, as well as determining how long the project is expected to take to complete. The budget and timeline should be carefully reviewed and approved by all relevant stakeholders before proceeding to the next step.
08
PROCUREMENT & MATERIAL SELECTION
With the design finalized, the project team will procure the required materials, fixtures, and furniture. This stage involves sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotations, and selecting the best options based on quality, durability, and cost-effectiveness. Close attention is paid to lead times, ensuring that materials are delivered on schedule to avoid any delays during the construction phase. Sustainable and environmentally friendly choices may also align with the client’s preferences.
09
BUILD
Select a fit-out contractor to carry out the work. This involves requesting and evaluating proposals from a number of different contractors and selecting the one that offers the best combination of price, quality, and experience. Before the fit-out work can begin, it is important to obtain any necessary approvals and permits from local authorities and other regulatory bodies. This may include building permits, fire safety approvals, and other types of regulatory clearance.
10
HANDOVER & CLIENT APPROVAL
After successful testing and commissioning, the project team will arrange for a final inspection with the client. This involves a detailed walkthrough to assess the completed fit-out and verify that it aligns with the agreed-upon design and specifications. Any minor adjustments or touch-ups identified during this process are promptly addressed. Once the client is satisfied with the outcome, the handover process takes place, and the fit-out construction project is officially completed.
